Fabio Braña came out of the goal and Malvin Rendain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute Rubio Tizon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Braña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matia Gayo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Nisperos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Braña should have stopped the shot. After the first half Chapud were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Matia Gayo made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Rubio Tizon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Braña was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. The supporters of Chapud booed when Nisperos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xilo Mallavia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Nisperos FC's Chumo Galbarruri got a free kick in the 55th minute. Matia Gayo took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergi Alda. Sergi Alda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Fabio Braña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubio Tizon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee showed Cebrian Gaviña the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 93 minutes into the match, Chapud's goal looked a bit too open when Lucero Andinyach came free, but Sergi Alda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 98th match minute, Nisperos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yoel Granell to maneuver through the defense. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
