Matia Gayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 5 minutes, Lucero Andinyach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nisperos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucero Andinyach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matia Gayo in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duarte Abeyta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matia Gayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Abeyta having to interfere. Matia Gayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Albanio FC's zone, Lucero Andinyach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duarte Abeyta came out of the goal and Lucero Andinyach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Duarte Abeyta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matia Gayo in the 19th minute of play. Melchor Ordas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Fabio Braña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Braña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pello Cardeña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucero Andinyach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Albanio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matia Gayo came free, but Duarte Abeyta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucero Andinyach could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Duarte Abeyta made a huge save. Duarte Abeyta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matia Gayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Duarte Abeyta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matia Gayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rene Pedrueca fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Albanio FC's protests and gave Rene Pedrueca a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Matia Gayo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nisperos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matia Gayo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duarte Abeyta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matia Gayo to make the kick off. Lucero Andinyach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Braña didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pello Cardeña went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Nisperos FC's Fabio Braña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Ordas in the 61st minute of play. Matia Gayo struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Duarte Abeyta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nisperos FC. 66 minutes into the game, Urbasa Olivera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Albanio FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nisperos FC the free kick. Urbasa Olivera kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. It was beautiful to see Nisperos FC's Xilo Mallavia in action when he in the 68th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Albanio FC's Duarte Abeyta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucero Andinyach in the 71st minute of play. Duarte Abeyta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucero Andinyach, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Lucero Andinyach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Albanio FC's goalkeeper Duarte Abeyta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lucero Andinyach took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Duarte Abeyta. Duarte Abeyta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Duarte Abeyta came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Nisperos FC's Matia Gayo. But to his dismay, Matia Gayo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Melchor Ordas came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Albanio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melchor Ordas couldn't finish the play. Nisperos FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
