After a defensive mix-up in Tunia FC's zone, Nazario Gavito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Vialpando came out of the goal and Nazario Gavito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Tunia FC booed when Sotomayor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venceslas Guisla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tunia FC's Xaiver Bergas got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 6 minutes into the game, Genaro Farras was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tunia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sotomayor the free kick. After a rather tough play, Tunia FC's Genaro Farras got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute, Inguma Panguision hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Xaiver Bergas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vicente Urdapilleta was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cordarryl Baroja in the 20th minute of play forced Tunia FC's goalkeeper Vicente Vialpando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Cordarryl Baroja's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vicente Vialpando was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. 24 minutes into the match, Mirande Rubin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vicente Vialpando. Vicente Vialpando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cordarryl Baroja in the 33rd minute of the match. Nazario Gavito scored 0-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vicente Vialpando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 48 minutes, Xaiver Bergas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tunia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xaiver Bergas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xaiver Bergas to strike the kick off in the second half. Sotomayor's Vicente Urdapilleta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lertxun Palomeque in the 55th minute of play. Astigar Orive hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. When Tunia FC's Lertxun Palomeque in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sotomayor's goalie prevented a goal. In the 61st match minute, Sotomayor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loreto Zambranos to maneuver through the defense. Xaiver Bergas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Janpier Achiaga hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. If Nazario Gavito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nazario Gavito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Vialpando having to interfere. After 76 minutes, Astigar Orive mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tunia FC and the Sotomayor players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tunia FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Astigar Orive hit a great ball. Cordarryl Baroja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nazario Gavito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th match minute, Tunia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Gamones to maneuver through the defense. When Cordarryl Baroja came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Sotomayor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cordarryl Baroja couldn't finish the play. Tunia FC's Vicente Vialpando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordarryl Baroja in the 84th minute of play. The supporters of Tunia FC booed when Sotomayor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loreto Zambranos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Tunia FC's Xaiver Bergas in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sotomayor's goalie prevented a goal. The Sotomayor players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
