Laurentzi Ascarza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jenaro Candia having to interfere. Eguerdi Astera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute, Etxekopar Oro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Betadur Corredera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Eguerdi Astera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Warriors FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eguerdi Astera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jenaro Candia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the game, Xesus Berinduaga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zacarias Cueto. Xesus Berinduaga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Betadur Corredera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loren Freixes hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Eguerdi Astera scored 1-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jenaro Candia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Huanparet's goalkeeper Jenaro Candia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eguerdi Astera struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Jenaro Candia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Warriors FC. If Eguerdi Astera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xesus Berinduaga was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Red Warriors FC's Cordareo Erruz got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute of the match Etxekopar Oro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zacarias Cueto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eguerdi Astera who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Jenaro Candia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Huanparet's goalkeeper Jenaro Candia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jenaro Candia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eguerdi Astera's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Jenaro Candia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eguerdi Astera showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 65 minute of play. Jenaro Candia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tajo Herruz in the 67th minute of the match. If Xesus Berinduaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zacarias Cueto came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Huanparet's Ado Alaiz. But to his dismay, Ado Alaiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Jenaro Candia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eguerdi Astera, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Eguerdi Astera could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Jenaro Candia however easily saved by the left post. Eguerdi Astera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Laurentzi Ascarza came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Red Warriors FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laurentzi Ascarza couldn't finish the play. Eguerdi Astera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ado Alaiz kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the game, Eguerdi Astera lined in a short shot 2-5 behind a frustrated Jenaro Candia. 97 minutes into the match, Betadur Corredera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zacarias Cueto. Red Warriors FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Betadur Corredera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-5. Red Warriors FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
