After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Socorro Cantera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Junguillo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Socorro Cantera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teofilo Mora breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Bemabe Sesma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iyan Real was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. After 16 played minutes Aicala FC got a freekick which was hit by Ospin Londoño. Junguillo FC's Socorro Cantera got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Edilberto Andinyach could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Teofilo Mora however easily saved by the left post. Teofilo Mora was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Socorro Cantera showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 40 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Edilberto Andinyach managed to get in a good position for a shot. Junguillo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edilberto Andinyach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eguntsenti Campa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Teofilo Mora didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Junguillo FC. 65 minutes into the game, Junguillo FC's Socorro Cantera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teofilo Mora made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When Baumer Lobelo fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aicala FC's protests and gave Baumer Lobelo a yellow card for diving instead. Baumer Lobelo hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Pellas Lahoz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Teofilo Mora. Aicala FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Edilberto Andinyach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Mora having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Aicala FC's zone, Edilberto Andinyach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teofilo Mora came out of the goal and Edilberto Andinyach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute, Nayely Mutiloa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aicala FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 89 minutes into the match, Eguntsenti Campa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Iyan Real, 2-3. In the 93rd minute, Edilberto Andinyach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teofilo Mora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Socorro Cantera in the 96th minute of the match.
