Cardanacoa FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aresti Moreruela ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Chundular FC's Aresti Moreruela to fire away a dangerous shot which Mateo Escobedo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Xaver Blazquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Xaver Blazquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quintan Ozores in the 12th minute of play forced Cardanacoa FC's goalkeeper Mateo Escobedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 played minutes Cardanacoa FC got a freekick which was hit by Iago Collado. Chundular FC's Quintan Ozores got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Quintan Ozores in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateo Escobedo saved Cardanacoa FC from getting behind. Txartiko Goicoolea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Chundular FC's Pascual Delatorre got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute Carlos Temiño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nahia Piña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Txartiko Goicoolea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Carlos Temiño's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nahia Piña was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Carlos Temiño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nahia Piña having to interfere. Xaver Blazquez scored 0-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mateo Escobedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pascual Delatorre charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pascual Delatorre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pascual Delatorre hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Txartiko Goicoolea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nahia Piña read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 49th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Temiño made a kick off. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chundular FC's goalkeeper Nahia Piña, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mateo Escobedo made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Xaver Blazquez sent off a good shot on target. Cardanacoa FC's Mateo Escobedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Cardanacoa FC from getting a goal against them. Nahia Piña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Temiño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Quintan Ozores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Temiño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nahia Piña having to interfere. Carlos Temiño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Nahia Piña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Temiño in the 98th minute of play forced Chundular FC's goalkeeper Nahia Piña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Cardanacoa FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chundular FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Chundular FC.
