After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Txartiko Goicoolea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cardanacoa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Txartiko Goicoolea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haritzeder Mañueco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 8th minute Santos Frade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Escobedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Txartiko Goicoolea got free with Haritzeder Mañueco in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Flautillo's Haritzeder Mañueco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Flautillo from getting a goal against them. 15 minutes into the match, Flautillo's goalkeeper Haritzeder Mañueco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Txartiko Goicoolea. Txartiko Goicoolea might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Haritzeder Mañueco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Txartiko Goicoolea ran back to his position shaking his head. If Urko Carcel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sansone Cabañas kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Flautillo defense, Txartiko Goicoolea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Haritzeder Mañueco. The Flautillo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Haritzeder Mañueco should have stopped the shot. Mateo Escobedo came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Flautillo's Lluc Limofer. But to his dismay, Lluc Limofer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 32nd match minute, Flautillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Etxatxu Areces to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Temiño in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haritzeder Mañueco saved Flautillo from getting behind. In the 34th minute, Wilfredo Rozas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flautillo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Carlos Temiño 37 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Santos Frade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Mateo Escobedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Lluc Limofer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Mateo Escobedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lluc Limofer was the one to do the kick off. Txartiko Goicoolea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haritzeder Mañueco having to interfere. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flautillo's goalkeeper Haritzeder Mañueco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Cardanacoa FC booed when Flautillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Rozas didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Txartiko Goicoolea came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Cardanacoa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Txartiko Goicoolea couldn't finish the play. Mateo Escobedo was a little too slow when Lluc Limofer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 2-3. The supporters of Flautillo booed when Cardanacoa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Nogal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st match minute, Flautillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quirce Norato to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute Carlos Temiño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haritzeder Mañueco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Temiño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Haritzeder Mañueco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Cardanacoa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lluc Limofer came free, but Mateo Escobedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santos Frade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Mateo Escobedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santos Frade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mateo Escobedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Flautillo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
