The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Ursino Vime came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Maporilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ursino Vime couldn't finish the play. In the 4thth minute of the game Claudio Orue who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tabla FC's Marz Sardaneta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Maporilla's Claudio Orue in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tabla FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Claudio Orue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Maporilla booed when Tabla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Txaran Garijo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tabla FC's Marz Sardaneta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Tabla FC from getting a goal against them. Ursino Vime sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, Tabla FC's goalkeeper Marz Sardaneta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ursino Vime. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Junco during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tabla FC's Patricio Junco got a free kick in the 17th minute. Hitz Varandalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tello Valluerca struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Anton Olaechea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tabla FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tello Valluerca in the 21st minute of play forced Maporilla's goalkeeper Anton Olaechea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anton Olaechea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hitz Varandalla in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hitz Varandalla in the 24th minute of play forced Maporilla's goalkeeper Anton Olaechea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 minutes, Leoncio Oliver mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maporilla and the Tabla FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Claudio Orue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Hitz Varandalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tabla FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hitz Varandalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Olaechea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maporilla's Anton Olaechea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tello Valluerca in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Claudio Orue made a precise shot to the right of Marz Sardaneta. Tabla FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Maporilla's Anton Olaechea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hitz Varandalla in the 42nd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Hitz Varandalla made the kick off in the second half. Hitz Varandalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Maporilla booed when Tabla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Txaran Garijo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raebert Estenaga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marz Sardaneta. Tabla FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Maporilla's goalkeeper Anton Olaechea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tello Valluerca. Ursino Vime recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Maporilla booed when Tabla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bixintxo Lombana didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd match minute, Maporilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raebert Estenaga to maneuver through the defense. Anton Olaechea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hitz Varandalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudio Orue scored 4-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marz Sardaneta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tabla FC's Tello Valluerca got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Tabla FC booed when Maporilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Tricio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Hitz Varandalla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anton Olaechea was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Maporilla had won after a very even match.
