The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Jakobe Gilavert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iker Escarraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vidal Fontiveros having to interfere. In the 10th minute Roque Taranco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vidal Fontiveros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iker Escarraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vidal Fontiveros having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Samuel Guiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Estevon Neli hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Lander Endaya, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Estevon Neli kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Jakobe Gilavert took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Justin Villandiego. Justin Villandiego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

52 minutes into the match, Cocalito FC's Iker Escarraz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vidal Fontiveros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 55th minute, Roque Taranco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vidal Fontiveros was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Jakobe Gilavert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute Jakobe Gilavert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justin Villandiego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iker Escarraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Vidal Fontiveros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valerio Ybañez in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Justin Villandiego saved Cocalito FC from getting behind. 82 minutes into the match, Vahos FC's goalkeeper Vidal Fontiveros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iker Escarraz. In the 84th minute, Iker Escarraz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute, Jakobe Gilavert left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vahos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Vahos FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
