Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jerico Lasa kicked off to start the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Wilfredo Urtado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espinal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilfredo Urtado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilfredo Urtado took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Toro Arzola. Toro Arzola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bembe Villafana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerico Lasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The supporters of Guzman booed when Espinal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lidon Bueres didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jerico Lasa came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Guzman fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerico Lasa couldn't finish the play. Jerico Lasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 20th match minute, Espinal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oton Madama to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, Guzman's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Urtado came free, but Toro Arzola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilfredo Urtado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Espinal's Wilfredo Urtado in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guzman's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Urtado in the 46th minute of play forced Guzman's goalkeeper Toro Arzola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Faro Miras stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wilfredo Urtado might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toro Arzola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilfredo Urtado ran back to his position shaking his head. If Gorka Alda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Jerico Lasa notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Espinal's Bembe Villafana. Bembe Villafana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Gorka Alda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Espinal's Bembe Villafana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerico Lasa in the 81st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Espinal's zone, Gorka Alda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bembe Villafana came out of the goal and Gorka Alda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute, Faro Miras reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Toro Arzola. The goal made the score 1-2. The Espinal players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
