In the 8th minute, Caitano Pedreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Roman Lloves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cousarijuna's supporters rose to their feet, but Roman Lloves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dimo Almonte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Camuya's Dimo Almonte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Machado Ludeña in the 14th minute of play. Machado Ludeña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Machado Ludeña during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Machado Ludeña kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of Cousarijuna booed when Camuya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Ascazua didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dimo Almonte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Machado Ludeña in the 23rd minute of play. When Foro Lezama came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Cousarijuna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Foro Lezama couldn't finish the play. In the 28thth minute of the game Foro Lezama who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Camuya's Dimo Almonte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Foro Lezama fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimo Almonte having to interfere. Foro Lezama hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Cousarijuna's Nisio Saro got control of the ball when Firme Mesa tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Bedia in the 36th minute of play forced Cousarijuna's goalkeeper Nisio Saro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Camuya booed when Cousarijuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Lloves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeledon Bedia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Cousarijuna's goalkeeper Nisio Saro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Firme Mesa. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zeledon Bedia to make the kick off. Foro Lezama's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dimo Almonte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Foro Lezama got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the game, Machado Ludeña recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dimo Almonte. Machado Ludeña showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Dimo Almonte stood somewhat misplaced when Foro Lezama came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 63 minute. Foro Lezama received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Dimo Almonte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Machado Ludeña had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dimo Almonte. Camuya's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Machado Ludeña was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 76th match minute, Cousarijuna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Estebano Teixido to maneuver through the defense. Nisio Saro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Bedia in the 77th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Machado Ludeña managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeledon Bedia in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nisio Saro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Firme Mesa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nisio Saro having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cousarijuna walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
