If Felo Ziguenza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Puerto's Isias Bonachea in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Florida's goalie prevented a goal. 8 minutes into the match, Florida's goal looked a bit too open when Isias Bonachea came free, but Eneto Sanjuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Senon Ansola in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelito Aquino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eneto Sanjuan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raulo Fominaya in the 18th minute. After 20 minutes, Emilio Uribe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Florida and the Puerto players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Florida's Emilio Uribe got a free kick in the 20th minute. Raulo Fominayas short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Eneto Sanjuan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Puerto's zone, Felo Ziguenza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelito Aquino came out of the goal and Felo Ziguenza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, Puerto's Raulo Fominaya sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eneto Sanjuan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Raulo Fominaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Eneto Sanjuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isias Bonachea in the 32nd minute of play forced Florida's goalkeeper Eneto Sanjuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Florida's zone, Isias Bonachea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eneto Sanjuan came out of the goal and Isias Bonachea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Florida! When the match had been going on for 47 minutes, Puerto's Teobaldo Tesillo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Eneto Sanjuan. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Senon Ansola made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Florida's goal looked a bit too open when Kismi Canonega came free, but Eneto Sanjuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romo Brion in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eneto Sanjuan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zeledon Enterria hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Marcelito Aquino made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Felo Ziguenza sent off a good shot on target. Eneto Sanjuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raulo Fominaya in the 72nd minute of play. Marcelito Aquino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Senon Ansola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Romo Brion had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Emilio Uribe was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Florida's Emilio Uribe got a free kick in the 97th minute. Eneto Sanjuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raulo Fominaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. Puerto were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Florida for a fine match.
