Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Llin Fanego to make the kick off. Javiar Maxenchs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Marcelito Aquino made a huge save. Verdugo FC's Raimundo Utrera pulled a muscle in his back after 62 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romo Brion during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Verdugo FC booed when Puerto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. After having played for 70 minutes, Raulo Fominaya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puerto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raulo Fominaya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raulo Fominaya took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iraido Busta. Iraido Busta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 80th minute, Raulo Fominaya ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iraido Busta was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When Javiar Maxenchs came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Verdugo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Javiar Maxenchs couldn't finish the play. Teobaldo Tesillo kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Frantzes Aguinagalde got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Javiar Maxenchs scored 2-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelito Aquino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Raulo Fominaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iraido Busta having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Puerto had won after a very even match.
