When Andes's Azeari Aveo in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Popal's goalie prevented a goal. Andes's Azeari Aveo got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erdiano Villabel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelino Villariño having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Popal's zone, Leheren Pintado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Navarro Ibarlucea came out of the goal and Leheren Pintado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Popal's Cutberto Polla got a free kick in the 22nd minute. If Leheren Pintado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Erdiano Villabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cutberto Polla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Marcelino Villariño made a huge save. In the 40th minute, Popal's Erdiano Villabel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Andes's goalkeeper Marcelino Villariño, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Popal's Fix Tezanos got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Marcelino Villariño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erdiano Villabel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Popal booed when Andes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zosimo Naveda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andes's Marcelino Villariño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cutberto Polla in the 56th minute of play. Manel Pumares hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. If Cutberto Polla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Cutberto Polla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erdiano Villabel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Marcelino Villariño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelino Villariño came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Popal's Cutberto Polla. But to his dismay, Cutberto Polla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Erdiano Villabel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Azeari Aveo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Navarro Ibarlucea was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Leheren Pintado struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Navarro Ibarlucea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Andes. Andes's Azeari Aveo got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erdiano Villabel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Villariño having to interfere. After 89 played minutes Popal got a freekick which was hit by Oihenarte Landeras. After having played for 90 minutes, Azeari Aveo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Andes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Azeari Aveo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leheren Pintado's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Navarro Ibarlucea skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Popal were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Andes for a fine match.
