Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Quico Echave made the kick off which started today's match. Cate's Gilmar Gallaiztegui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caio Buedo in the 5th minute of play. After 7 minutes of play, Ahuyama's Ximenes Hurtado made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilmar Gallaiztegui was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Quico Echave got free with Gilmar Gallaiztegui in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Quico Echave fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilmar Gallaiztegui having to interfere. Quico Echave scored 2-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilmar Gallaiztegui, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quico Echave in the 32nd minute of play forced Cate's goalkeeper Gilmar Gallaiztegui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Oliverio Velandia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Quico Echave came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Ahuyama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quico Echave couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quico Echave in the 43rd minute of play forced Cate's goalkeeper Gilmar Gallaiztegui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benino Guate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oliverio Velandia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cate's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oxarra Baranda in the 54th minute. The corner led Cate's Oxarra Baranda to fire away a dangerous shot which Fagondo Jerena despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Ximenes Hurtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quico Echave received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Gilmar Gallaiztegui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Quico Echave cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Gilmar Gallaiztegui was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Quico Echave blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilmar Gallaiztegui having to make a save. In the 69th minute, Oliverio Velandia fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Caio Buedo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. If Jatsu Oliba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 played minutes, Ahuyama's Giraldo Baezabal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gilmar Gallaiztegui came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ahuyama reached it. Tuste Cubillo kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Ahuyama's Fagondo Jerena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliverio Velandia in the 87th minute of play. Jatsu Oliba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Fagondo Jerena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jatsu Oliba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ximenes Hurtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the match, Ximenes Hurtado notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Cate's Gilmar Gallaiztegui. Gilmar Gallaiztegui was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ahuyama were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cate for a fine match.
