Bidun Leniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Pastor Bertiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 13 minutes, Paquito Camilo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vapor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paquito Camilo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Paquito Camilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Vapor's Aurre Queipo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frutos Temes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Carrero FC booed when Vapor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cutberto Retes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frutos Temes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurre Queipo in the 33rd minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Carrero FC's Bidun Leniz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pastor Bertiz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Pastor Bertiz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lain Novoa in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vapor's goalkeeper Pastor Bertiz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aurre Queipo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Xabat Gallo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carrero FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Xabat Gallo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pastor Bertiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gervaso Can scored 2-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pastor Bertiz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Albino Pardelas kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After having played for 64 minutes, Lain Novoa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carrero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lain Novoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Carrero FC booed when Vapor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabino Balines didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vapor's Paquito Camilo got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bidun Leniz took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pastor Bertiz. Pastor Bertiz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurre Queipo in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frutos Temes saved Carrero FC from getting behind. Carrero FC's Frutos Temes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Barquerin in the 89th minute of play. When Lain Novoa came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Carrero FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lain Novoa couldn't finish the play. Vapor's Paquito Camilo got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aurre Queipo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Frutos Temes came out and tried to block the shot, but Aurre Queipo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 96th minute.
