After a defensive mix-up in Jacalle's zone, Sotero Noboa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luix Casielles came out of the goal and Sotero Noboa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 5th minute by Reyes Arlines got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Diegotxe Barreras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Jacalle defense, Reyes Arlines kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luix Casielles. The Jacalle fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luix Casielles should have stopped the shot. 19 minutes into the game, Diogo Cuartas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jacalle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Babilonia FC the free kick. Babilonia FC's Reyes Arlines got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sotero Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luix Casielles having to interfere. Havier Berzosa came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Jacalle's Giraldo Villacian. But to his dismay, Giraldo Villacian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With 28 minutes on the clock, Valentin Sole commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Babilonia FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jacalle:s goal. Guter Zucunza walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Luix Casielles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reyes Arlines in the 32nd minute. Havier Berzosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diegotxe Barreras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brun Cortazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Havier Berzosa having to interfere. Diogo Cuartas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Havier Berzosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Havier Berzosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guter Zucunza in the 60th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Jacalle's Guter Zucunza got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute, Reyes Arlines ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luix Casielles was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Diegotxe Barreras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
