Erlantz Gamiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Orzaize Lagunas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Salomon Biñe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dimo Cardiel's late challenge caught a Montecitos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dimo Cardiel helped the player get up and apologised. 14 minutes into the match, Mecana's goal looked a bit too open when Erlantz Gamiz came free, but Fernando Guisasola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erlantz Gamiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erlantz Gamiz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando Guisasola having to make a save. Fernando Guisasola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rios Aguileta in the 24th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Montecitos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Gorostiza came free, but Salomon Biñe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salomon Biñe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orzaize Lagunas in the 28th minute. After 36 played minutes Mecana got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Barrios. Felix Bastida, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Orzaize Lagunas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Montecitos FC's Salomon Biñe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Gorostiza in the 48th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a rather tough play, Montecitos FC's Zayvion Luan got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After having played for 55 minutes, Zacarias Gorostiza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mecana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zacarias Gorostiza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Gorostiza in the 61st minute of play forced Montecitos FC's goalkeeper Salomon Biñe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Julio Salais fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montecitos FC's protests and gave Julio Salais a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th match minute, Montecitos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Salais to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Rios Aguileta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montecitos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rios Aguileta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Guisasola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zacarias Gorostiza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salomon Biñe having to interfere. In the 87th match minute, Montecitos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariando Caldera to maneuver through the defense. Salomon Biñe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Gorostiza in the 90th minute of the match. In the 93rd match minute, Mecana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Gormaz to maneuver through the defense. Domingos Claveria thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Fernando Guisasola, a very annoying self made goal in the 96th minute which led to 0-1.
