Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Atarrabi Arzuriaga took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute Xicu Mella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clis Catiti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Xicu Mella was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olympik AS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matazarza FC the free kick. Rene Fariñada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baladi Bermejo in the 19th minute of the match. Rene Fariñada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atarrabi Arzuriaga in the 20th minute of play. Baladi Bermejo scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rene Fariñada, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Clis Catiti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xicu Mella in the 24th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Olympik AS's Blas Goxenola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clis Catiti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 31 played minutes Matazarza FC got a freekick which was hit by Atarrabi Arzuriaga. When Olympik AS's Blas Goxenola in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Matazarza FC's goalie prevented a goal. Geofredo Biñe hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Clis Catiti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Goxenola, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Entia in the 41st minute of play forced Olympik AS's goalkeeper Rene Fariñada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Olympik AS's goal looked a bit too open when Atarrabi Arzuriaga came free, but Rene Fariñada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olympik AS's Blas Goxenola got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atarrabi Arzuriaga in the 46th minute of play forced Olympik AS's goalkeeper Rene Fariñada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blas Goxenola in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clis Catiti saved Matazarza FC from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Blas Goxenola to strike the kick off in the second half. Olympik AS's Blas Goxenola got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rene Fariñada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salbatore Zalaeta in the 58th minute. Blas Goxenola struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Clis Catiti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olympik AS. With a little luck, Olympik AS's Rene Fariñada got control of the ball when Salbatore Zalaeta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Blas Goxenola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Bingen Estevez in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Olympik AS's Ado Rigueiro. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Blas Goxenola managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olympik AS's supporters rose to their feet, but Blas Goxenola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clis Catiti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clis Catiti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Goxenola in the 73rd minute of play. Aztore Loizaga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rene Fariñada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salbatore Zalaeta in the 76th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Blas Goxenola notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Matazarza FC's Clis Catiti. Clis Catiti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 85 minutes, Blas Goxenola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olympik AS and the Matazarza FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Blas Goxenola hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. When Uxio Carvajal came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Olympik AS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uxio Carvajal couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Blas Goxenola in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clis Catiti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aztore Loizaga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blas Goxenola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olympik AS were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Matazarza FC to leave the ground with a draw.
