Mundo Alcubierre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baristo Berrueta having to interfere. When Mundo Alcubierre came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Juan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mundo Alcubierre couldn't finish the play. 20 minutes into the game, Cristo Gallinas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juan FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Asamblea FC the free kick. In the 20th match minute, Juan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Gallinas to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Juan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fero Folgueras came free, but Urbano Llera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urbano Llera made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Mario Sibila sent off a good shot on target. Mundo Alcubierre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Mundo Alcubierre came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Juan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mundo Alcubierre couldn't finish the play. When Froylan Cabuerniga fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Asamblea FC's protests and gave Froylan Cabuerniga a yellow card for diving instead. Froylan Cabuerniga kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute of the match Dalmu Licon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baristo Berrueta skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xurde Soraiz in the 41st minute of play forced Asamblea FC's goalkeeper Baristo Berrueta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Asamblea FC's zone, Xurde Soraiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baristo Berrueta came out of the goal and Xurde Soraiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Xurde Soraiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, Froylan Cabuerniga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the match, Dalmu Licon sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Baristo Berrueta threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Dalmu Licon this time. Baristo Berrueta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xurde Soraiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After some careless play in the Juan FC defense, Xavierlada Mino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Urbano Llera. The Juan FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Urbano Llera should have stopped the shot. Xurde Soraiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Baristo Berrueta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baristo Berrueta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xurde Soraiz in the 71st minute of play. The supporters of Juan FC booed when Asamblea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pirmin Gayoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Asamblea FC's Baristo Berrueta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Asamblea FC from getting a goal against them. Baristo Berrueta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xurde Soraiz in the 77th minute of play. If Mario Sibila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Asamblea FC's goalkeeper Baristo Berrueta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mundo Alcubierre. Xurde Soraiz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baristo Berrueta having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Mundo Alcubierre put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Baristo Berrueta. When the match was over Juan FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Asamblea FC throughout the match.
