Feliciano Capell was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Santelena FC's Gaxan Cueto got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Orzaize Povia kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After having played for 19 minutes, Xantalen Lecubarri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jonri F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xantalen Lecubarri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elazar Hoyuela struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Mergildo Jimenez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jonri F.C. Mergildo Jimenez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elazar Hoyuela, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 25 played minutes Jonri F.C got a freekick which was hit by Caradaro Bargues. When Oier Sobrevilla came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Santelena FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oier Sobrevilla couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Misael Basterra in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feliciano Capell saved Jonri F.C from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Sasoin Orallo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mergildo Jimenez was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. When Sasoin Orallo came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Jonri F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sasoin Orallo couldn't finish the play. Mergildo Jimenez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Americo Vives, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Elazar Hoyuela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Mergildo Jimenez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliciano Capell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tolino Santotis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Misael Basterra made a kick off. Elazar Hoyuela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Mergildo Jimenez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 53 minutes into the game, Elazar Hoyuela cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Mergildo Jimenez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Santelena FC booed when Jonri F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Vives didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st match minute, Santelena FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaxan Cueto to maneuver through the defense. If Xantalen Lecubarri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Jonri F.C fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Jonri F.C's Sasoin Orallo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Santelena FC's Mergildo Jimenez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Americo Vives in the 68th minute of play. When Gaxan Cueto was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played. In the 70th minute, Gaxan Cueto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jonri F.C's Americo Vives in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santelena FC's goalie prevented a goal. Lia Liendo struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Feliciano Capell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santelena FC. Misael Basterra's late challenge caught a Jonri F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Misael Basterra helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th minute, Misael Basterra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elazar Hoyuela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Elazar Hoyuela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mergildo Jimenez having to interfere. If Elazar Hoyuela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Americo Vives hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Jonri F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Santelena FC.
