Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Urbano Veguri kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Maipaha's zone, Cresencio Humara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvidor Perramon came out of the goal and Cresencio Humara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 5th minute, Urbano Veguri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maipaha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 11th minute, Urtungo Aneutes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Urbano Veguri in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck James Azailla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cresencio Humara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Salvidor Perramon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Tauchiral's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Veguri came free, but James Azailla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salvidor Perramon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petrigai Lejarazu in the 33rd minute of the match. Urbano Veguri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. James Azailla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fernandez Huemen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Maipaha's Gurutz Liebana got a free kick in the 44th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Maipaha's goal looked a bit too open when Petrigai Lejarazu came free, but Salvidor Perramon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Maipaha were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
53 minutes into the game, Urbano Veguri lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated James Azailla. When Odilon Jove fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maipaha's protests and gave Odilon Jove a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Tauchiral's James Azailla got control of the ball when Fernandez Huemen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paio Caliz's late challenge caught a Maipaha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paio Caliz helped the player get up and apologised. After 73 played minutes Tauchiral got a freekick which was hit by Paio Caliz. Fernandez Huemen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. James Azailla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Tauchiral booed when Maipaha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Veguri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Maipaha fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! Fernandez Huemen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Urbano Veguri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. James Azailla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. James Azailla came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Maipaha's Fernandez Huemen. But to his dismay, Fernandez Huemen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Fernandez Huemen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maipaha's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernandez Huemen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. James Azailla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maipaha's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
