A collision led to Figueroa FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Itzaina Onil hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pes Gatnau in the 17th minute of play forced Estudiantes jr's goalkeeper Dan Bergman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iago Saribiarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Traspuesto having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, Estudiantes jr was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urdin Acenero to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Estudiantes jr getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Frutos Parra hit a great ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Figueroa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iago Saribiarte came free, but Paulino Traspuesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Inocente Ruiz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paulino Traspuesto. The goal made the score 2-0. Onbera Romay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Traspuesto having to interfere. In the 44th minute of the match, Iago Saribiarte tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Paulino Traspuesto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Estudiantes jr's Dan Bergman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulizes Baldonado in the 45th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 48 minutes, Paulino Traspuesto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulizes Baldonado was the one to do the kick off. Paulino Traspuesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Onbera Romay, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute of the match Estudiantes jr got a corner. Figueroa FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rutenio Mangual ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Rutenio Mangual almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Figueroa FC's Paulino Traspuesto did a great save. Onbera Romay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulino Traspuesto having to make a save. A collision led to Estudiantes jr getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Eusebio Cascallana hit a great ball. Figueroa FC's Pes Gatnau got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iago Saribiarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Traspuesto having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Rayman Fragua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iago Saribiarte charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iago Saribiarte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Figueroa FC's Paulino Traspuesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Onbera Romay in the 84th minute of play. Onbera Romay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Figueroa FC's Paulino Traspuesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iago Saribiarte in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Onbera Romay notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Figueroa FC's Paulino Traspuesto. Paulino Traspuesto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
