In the 3rd minute of the match, Inocente Ruiz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but David Eguiara saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iago Saribiarte in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Eguiara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dan Bergman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezkerra Monroy in the 11th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iago Saribiarte in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Eguiara saved Lindenal from getting behind. When Lindenal's Rogelio Ceitegui in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lindenal's David Eguiara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Lindenal from getting a goal against them. 36 minutes into the match, Lindenal's goal looked a bit too open when Iago Saribiarte came free, but David Eguiara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes jr's Inocente Ruiz got a free kick in the 39th minute. When Onbera Romay came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Estudiantes jr fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Onbera Romay couldn't finish the play. Ezkerra Monroy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Bergman having to interfere. If Iago Saribiarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Iago Saribiarte made the kick off in the second half. Ezkerra Monroy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Dan Bergman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Rogelio Ceitegui got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th minute, Iago Saribiarte made a precise shot to the right of David Eguiara. Lindenal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 63 played minutes Estudiantes jr got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Cascallana. Dan Bergman didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Lindenal's Ezkerra Monroy shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Rogelio Ceitegui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lindenal's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogelio Ceitegui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dan Bergman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The attack was good, but when Rogelio Ceitegui in the 73rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Eladio Terrazos hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Estudiantes jr's zone, Ezkerra Monroy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Bergman came out of the goal and Ezkerra Monroy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Eguiara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iago Saribiarte in the 81st minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Ezkerra Monroy got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Onbera Romay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iago Saribiarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Eguiara having to interfere. Lindenal's David Eguiara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Onbera Romay in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Estudiantes jr fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lindenal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
