Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Tomo's Lucas Saenz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Tomo getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Zeledon Posada hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Tomo's goal looked a bit too open when Macias Cantillo came free, but Reynardo Zapata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lucas Saenz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 played minutes Tomo got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Saenz. In the 21st match minute, Ceibacal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guipuzkoa Sabuco to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Saenz in the 22nd minute of play forced Ceibacal's goalkeeper Azeari Baraña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Saenz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ceibacal's Huly Villalon got a free kick in the 26th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ceibacal's zone, Bemabe Quijada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Azeari Baraña came out of the goal and Bemabe Quijada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Lucas Saenz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Saenz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bemabe Quijada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Azeari Baraña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Xuoco Matanza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Reynardo Zapata. Xuoco Matanza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
52 minutes into the match, Macias Cantillo notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Tomo's Reynardo Zapata. Reynardo Zapata was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 55th match minute, Tomo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inaki Vaya to maneuver through the defense. Macias Cantillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynardo Zapata having to interfere. Tomo's Reynardo Zapata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Macias Cantillo in the 62nd minute of play. Bemabe Quijada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Azeari Baraña made a huge save. Lucas Saenz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Azeari Baraña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute of the match Tomo got a corner. Ceibacal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Etxekopar Cadenas ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Tomo's corner Etxekopar Cadenas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Azeari Baraña quite easily take care of the ball. After 78 minutes, Vidal Parga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tomo and the Ceibacal players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 78 played minutes Tomo got a freekick which was hit by Vidal Parga. Xuoco Matanza might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reynardo Zapata. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xuoco Matanza ran back to his position shaking his head. 82 minutes into the match, Tomo's goal looked a bit too open when Xuoco Matanza came free, but Reynardo Zapata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Xuoco Matanza came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Ceibacal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xuoco Matanza couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute, Xuoco Matanza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reynardo Zapata was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Macias Cantillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ceibacal were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Tomo for a fine match.
