Berto Donis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Natalio Barril. Piusbi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Terronseco getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Cosme Monterros hit a great ball. In the 7th minute, Piusbi's Oriche Villaba ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ascencio Latorre. Ascencio Latorre yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Cosme Monterros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Natalio Barril tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xabat Elzuardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Natalio Barril showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romano Fleytas in the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, Terronseco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romano Fleytas to maneuver through the defense. Oriche Villaba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Piusbi's zone, Cosme Monterros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Natalio Barril came out of the goal and Cosme Monterros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Piusbi's Natalio Barril played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Monterros in the 34th minute of play. When Ciceron Regules came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Piusbi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciceron Regules couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Terronseco booed when Piusbi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kusko Vagrande didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Terronseco's Xabat Elzuardi fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. If Cosme Monterros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cosme Monterros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Oriche Villaba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ascencio Latorre was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. A collision led to Terronseco getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Behe Rubain hit a great ball. Oriche Villaba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ascencio Latorre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ciceron Regules had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosme Monterros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oriche Villaba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ascencio Latorre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Terronseco's goal looked a bit too open when Oriche Villaba came free, but Ascencio Latorre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciceron Regules recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ascencio Latorre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciceron Regules, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Terronseco's Ascencio Latorre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oriche Villaba in the 89th minute of play. Natalio Barril made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xabat Elzuardi in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute, Terronseco's Cosme Monterros dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
