With a left leg Marcones Alseda saved MAKEMBA from getting behind. If Aureo Collado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Junin's goal looked a bit too open when Aureo Collado came free, but Paulo Centeñes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xamo Galindez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 played minutes Junin got a freekick which was hit by Lluciano Rodero. When Salomon Gutierrez came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Junin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salomon Gutierrez couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the game, Eder Santillion was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MAKEMBA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Junin the free kick. Junin's Edson Mendaña couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 28th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for MAKEMBA. When Xamo Galindez came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the MAKEMBA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xamo Galindez couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute of the match Xelo Duque shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Centeñes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 35th match minute, Junin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lluciano Rodero to maneuver through the defense. When Xamo Galindez came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the MAKEMBA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xamo Galindez couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Salomon Gutierrez made a kick off. Aureo Collado scored 1-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Centeñes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 63rd minute, Aureo Collado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Arnaldo Area came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Junin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo Area couldn't finish the play. Eder Santillion got his second yellow card in the match during the 72nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Eder Santillion kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Xamo Galindez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Centeñes having to interfere. Luis-Antonio Llorens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Paulo Centeñes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcones Alseda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salomon Gutierrez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MAKEMBA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
