Cloyo Ruelas had in the 8thth minute some difficulties stopping Enmanuel Arruga's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 10th minute, Cai Melena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Malabar FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Lluques Villasinda hit a great ball. Palban Muruve recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 18 minutes, Loren Piñeros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manantialito and the Malabar FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Loren Piñeros hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the game, Palban Muruve cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ramond Arnaez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Palban Muruve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mino Sarantes hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Palban Muruve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramond Arnaez having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Manantialito's zone, Cai Melena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramond Arnaez came out of the goal and Cai Melena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Froilan Vaquero got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Froilan Vaquero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lourenco Ontavilla was the one to do the kick off. Cai Melena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cai Melena's late challenge caught a Manantialito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cai Melena helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Malabar FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Cai Melena hit a great ball. Froilan Vaquero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cloyo Ruelas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lourenco Ontavilla in the 60th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Malabar FC's Cai Melena got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Froilan Vaquero's late challenge caught a Malabar FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Froilan Vaquero helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th minute, Froilan Vaquero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 80 minutes of play, Malabar FC's Palban Muruve made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramond Arnaez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Froilan Vaquero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Palban Muruve blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramond Arnaez having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Malabar FC's Timeteo Sejomill got a free kick in the 86th minute. Cloyo Ruelas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lourenco Ontavilla in the 87th minute of the match. If Froilan Vaquero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Froilan Vaquero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manantialito's Lourenco Ontavilla got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Malabar FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Malabar FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
