Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tavio Dacorrega started the match with the kick off. Tavio Dacorrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Martines having to interfere. Gerardo Martines took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Jamilio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerardo Martines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luix Concha in the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Horacio Jamilio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gerardo Martines was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gerardo Martines showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Jamilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noe Boher in the 20th minute of play forced Pueblo's goalkeeper Leoiar Losa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leoiar Losa was a little too slow when Timoteo Goitia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 1-1. Formerio Cimas might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leoiar Losa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Formerio Cimas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rd minute, Deportivo Tolima Ibagué's Chan Grandas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leoiar Losa. Leoiar Losa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Timoteo Goitia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Chan Grandas took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Leoiar Losa to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Noe Boher stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gerardo Martines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tavio Dacorrega in the 52nd minute of the match. Deportivo Tolima Ibagué's Gerardo Martines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tavio Dacorrega in the 55th minute of play. The long shot by Perez Rodriguez in the 57th minute really tested Gerardo Martines's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, Pueblo's Zabal Xixons got a free kick in the 61st minute. When Timoteo Goitia came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Deportivo Tolima Ibagué fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timoteo Goitia couldn't finish the play. Pueblo's Leoiar Losa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noe Boher in the 67th minute of play. Timoteo Goitia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chan Grandas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leoiar Losa having to interfere. Leoiar Losa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chan Grandas in the 84th minute of play. Gerardo Martines made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Horacio Jamilio sent off a good shot on target. Horacio Jamilio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Gerardo Martines made a huge save.
