In the 13th minute Formerio Cimas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olayo Motel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Formerio Cimas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olayo Motel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Formerio Cimas, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Turi Garcidueñas kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Caruru's Bortzaioriz Garray dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Gerardo Martines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bortzaioriz Garray in the 23rd minute of play. Timoteo Goitia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Formerio Cimas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olayo Motel having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Tolima Ibagué's Silvino Callergos got a free kick in the 29th minute. With his leg Gerardo Martines managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Caruru's Nesto Olasagasti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Deportivo Tolima Ibagué's Gerardo Martines proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Tolima Ibagué from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bortzaioriz Garray in the 35th minute of play forced Deportivo Tolima Ibagué's goalkeeper Gerardo Martines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The wind increased when Noe Boher made the kick off in the second half. Timoteo Goitia hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Noe Boher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olayo Motel having to interfere. Olayo Motel made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Formerio Cimas sent off a good shot on target. Formerio Cimas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Olayo Motel made a huge save. If Noe Boher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Formerio Cimas took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Olayo Motel to make any attempt to save it. Olayo Motel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Formerio Cimas in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nesto Olasagasti in the 77th minute of play forced Deportivo Tolima Ibagué's goalkeeper Gerardo Martines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Angelo Maleta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
