When Antonio Jiron came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Fuego united fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Jiron couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peter Isoba made a kick off. After 51 minutes, Papo Olaisola made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Pechos's Ciriaco Villaquilambre tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Papo Olaisola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciriaco Villaquilambre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rumaldo Treceño in the 56th minute of the match. Pechos's Ciriaco Villaquilambre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Papo Olaisola in the 64th minute of play. Anton Saldoval took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciriaco Villaquilambre. Ciriaco Villaquilambre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Anton Saldoval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute Anselmo Santiago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Villaquilambre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Antonio Jiron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fuego united's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pechos the free kick. After 84 played minutes Fuego united got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Jiron. Baumar Cabuerniga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Isoba in the 87th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Papo Olaisola in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciriaco Villaquilambre saved Pechos from getting behind. If Papo Olaisola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Antonio Jiron had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciriaco Villaquilambre. Pechos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonio Jiron was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0.
