An unexpectedly hard shot by Zuzen Zugarrondo in the 15th minute of play forced ATLETICO NACIONAL's goalkeeper Denis Chago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Academia los XI del barri's Inocente Galisteo got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 19th match minute, ATLETICO NACIONAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Gau to maneuver through the defense. Cleto Ayasti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandaili Paris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Sandaili Paris had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cleto Ayasti. After a defensive mix-up in Academia los XI del barri's zone, Bahiano Santiso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cleto Ayasti came out of the goal and Bahiano Santiso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, ATLETICO NACIONAL's goal looked a bit too open when Zuzen Zugarrondo came free, but Denis Chago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half ATLETICO NACIONAL were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sandaili Paris stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Academia los XI del barri's Lorenz Valdes got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Academia los XI del barri's goal looked a bit too open when Bahiano Santiso came free, but Cleto Ayasti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inocente Galisteo kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After 64 played minutes Academia los XI del barri got a freekick which was hit by Vigil Asturi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenz Valdes in the 72nd minute of play forced ATLETICO NACIONAL's goalkeeper Denis Chago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denis Chago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zuzen Zugarrondo in the 77th minute of the match.
