The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dayam Babiano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dayam Babiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordearo Fuentecilla in the 9th minute of play. After 16 minutes of play, Celtic FC's Cordearo Fuentecilla made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dayam Babiano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dayam Babiano came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Celtic FC's Cordearo Fuentecilla. But to his dismay, Cordearo Fuentecilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Cordearo Fuentecilla's late challenge caught a Fondas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cordearo Fuentecilla helped the player get up and apologised. Cordearo Fuentecilla hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, Celtic FC's goalkeeper Vitor Barrieta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Muno Cadimo. Dayam Babiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordearo Fuentecilla in the 30th minute of play. When Oskarbi Perero fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fondas's protests and gave Oskarbi Perero a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, Matias Cachorro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dayam Babiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Opilano Areces in the 35th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oskarbi Perero got free with Vitor Barrieta in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 43 minutes, Cordearo Fuentecilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Celtic FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cordearo Fuentecilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Muno Cadimo kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cordearo Fuentecilla to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Celtic FC's Boniel Goycoa got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Aldo Gama's late challenge caught a Celtic FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aldo Gama helped the player get up and apologised. Aldo Gama kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Fondas's Dayam Babiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Fondas from getting a goal against them. Nastasio Hurdinosa hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Vitor Barrieta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oskarbi Perero in the 75th minute of the match. Vitor Barrieta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oskarbi Perero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Muno Cadimo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vitor Barrieta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oskarbi Perero, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Vitor Barrieta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oskarbi Perero went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. In the 91st minute Oskarbi Perero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitor Barrieta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st match minute, Celtic FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Cachorro to maneuver through the defense. When Fondas's Oskarbi Perero in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Celtic FC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Fondas booed when Celtic FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cutberto Arenchen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Celtic FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Celtic FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
