After 12 played minutes Resistencia Tayrona FC got a freekick which was hit by Xusto Lasquibar. In the 15th match minute, Resistencia Tayrona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Astete to maneuver through the defense. Eustacio Eiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Caldero having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Tapitas FC's Enrique Caldero threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dantae Mensa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 25th minute, Joam Almarza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eustacio Eiros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Enrique Caldero made a huge save. Kaleth Morales's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Macedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Enrique Caldero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustacio Eiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaleth Morales in the 60th minute of play forced Tapitas FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Manuel Viniambres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Gai Guerrico in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Resistencia Tayrona FC's Joam Almarza. When Kaleth Morales came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Resistencia Tayrona FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaleth Morales couldn't finish the play. When Joam Almarza fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Resistencia Tayrona FC's protests and gave Joam Almarza a yellow card for diving instead. Joam Almarza kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Ciano Bonifaz charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciano Bonifaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th minute, Ciano Bonifaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enrique Caldero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustacio Eiros in the 85th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Tapitas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kaleth Morales came free, but Gabriel Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Navarro Escalona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute, Sidro Torra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
