The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Artizar Vilardell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Luis Diaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rene Crescencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 11th minute, Artizar Vilardell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Diaz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Rene Crescencio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luis Diaz having to make a save. Luis Diaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rene Crescencio in the 15th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Montel Lavalle during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Libertadores Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Montel Lavalle to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Artizar Vilardell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luis Diaz. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rene Crescencio in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis Diaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Libertadores Fútbol Club's Artizar Vilardell got a free kick in the 24th minute. Libertadores Fútbol Club's Artizar Vilardell got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the game, Rene Crescencio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luis Diaz. Luis Diaz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Rene Crescencio charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rene Crescencio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Libertadores Fútbol Club's Rene Crescencio got a free kick in the 35th minute. LA METRO's Luis Diaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save LA METRO from getting a goal against them. Rene Crescencio might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luis Diaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rene Crescencio ran back to his position shaking his head. Luis Diaz made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Rene Crescencio sent off a good shot on target. When Libertadores Fútbol Club's Rene Crescencio in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LA METRO's goalie prevented a goal. 41 minutes into the game, Libertadores Fútbol Club's Artizar Vilardell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luis Diaz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. When Artizar Vilardell came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Libertadores Fútbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artizar Vilardell couldn't finish the play. Artizar Vilardell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Luis Diaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fidencio Rosete stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Billie Denijs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Libertadores Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Beliran Ennecon hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in LA METRO's zone, Artizar Vilardell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Diaz came out of the goal and Artizar Vilardell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of LA METRO booed when Libertadores Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Crescencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artizar Vilardell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Diaz having to interfere. After some careless play in the LA METRO defense, Rene Crescencio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luis Diaz. The LA METRO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luis Diaz should have stopped the shot. In the 70th match minute, LA METRO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidencio Rosete to maneuver through the defense. Artizar Vilardell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Diaz having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Rene Crescencio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luis Diaz. Luis Diaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Crescencio in the 82nd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Artizar Vilardell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luis Diaz. LA METRO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Artizar Vilardell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. In the 89th minute Libertadores Fútbol Club were awarded a corner. Jajang Waringin went to the cornerflag to take it. Rene Crescencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Diaz having to interfere. Artizar Vilardell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to LA METRO getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Sixto Roda hit a great ball. After 93 played minutes, Libertadores Fútbol Club's Jajang Waringin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luis Diaz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Libertadores Fútbol Club reached it. Rene Crescencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Diaz having to interfere. After 97 minutes of play Libertadores Fútbol Club's Rene Crescencio was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 97th match minute, Libertadores Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Crescencio to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Libertadores Fútbol Club had played much better football throughout.
