After some careless play in the Nietero FC defense, Ramirez Guim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bibiano Caneiro. The Nietero FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bibiano Caneiro should have stopped the shot. 10 minutes into the match, Nietero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Donostia Somonte came free, but Bibiano Caneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Guasdualito FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ramirez Guim hit a great ball. Donostia Somonte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Nietero FC booed when Guasdualito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osoro Lizarazu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Guter Gajardo made a precise shot to the right of Txomin Gandio. Guasdualito FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Osoro Lizarazu kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Nataniel Vallejo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 43rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Txomin Gandio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Lopidana, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When Fermin Mateos fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guasdualito FC's protests and gave Fermin Mateos a yellow card for diving instead. Fermin Mateos hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Donostia Somonte made the kick off in the second half. Ronaldinho Belaunde charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronaldinho Belaunde the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nietero FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erasmo Lasalde was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 62nd match minute, Nietero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldinho Belaunde to maneuver through the defense. Erasmo Lasalde struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Bibiano Caneiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guasdualito FC. Bibiano Caneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donostia Somonte in the 66th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Guasdualito FC got a freekick which was hit by Urtun Castrillo. In the 70th minute, Guter Gajardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nietero FC's Guter Gajardo got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donostia Somonte in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bibiano Caneiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Lasalde in the 83rd minute of play forced Nietero FC's goalkeeper Bibiano Caneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute Erasmo Lasalde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bibiano Caneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osoro Lizarazu hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guasdualito FC's goalkeeper Txomin Gandio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
