In the 3rd minute, Aloisio Ruescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fernendo Rojo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vitorino Martel came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Auricia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vitorino Martel couldn't finish the play. When Auricia's Fernendo Rojo in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carmen's goalie prevented a goal. Illan Obaldia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernendo Rojo in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Lluberas in the 31st minute of play forced Auricia's goalkeeper Freddy Betzanos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose Lluberas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Freddy Betzanos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Auricia's Freddy Betzanos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atarratze Ambrosio in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Auricia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Ares to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Lluberas in the 39th minute of play forced Auricia's goalkeeper Freddy Betzanos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Betzanos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sotero Escajedo in the 60th minute of play. Freddy Betzanos came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Carmen's Atarratze Ambrosio. But to his dismay, Atarratze Ambrosio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 66th minute, Atarratze Ambrosio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Freddy Betzanos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Auricia's goalkeeper Freddy Betzanos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Atarratze Ambrosio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atarratze Ambrosio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Carmen booed when Auricia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osoro Oca didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Vitorino Martel came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Auricia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vitorino Martel couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Carmen eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
