Manamundo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uhin Asensio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reynardo Rascuro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uhin Asensio in the 31st minute of the match. Uhin Asensio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uhin Asensio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Reynardo Rascuro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reynardo Rascuro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louis Maeda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute, Endura Negrete had to leave the field with a concussion. When Delmiro Vivaldo fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cubita FC's protests and gave Delmiro Vivaldo a yellow card for diving instead. After 49 played minutes Cubita FC got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Vivaldo. After 50 played minutes, Manamundo's Liberto Soldevila shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Reynardo Rascuro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Manamundo reached it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Markvincent Ondarra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 60th match minute, Cubita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrew Vozmediana to maneuver through the defense. When Uhin Asensio came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Manamundo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uhin Asensio couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roberto Alzola in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Muno Leiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Louis Maeda struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Reynardo Rascuro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manamundo. When Andrew Vozmediana fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cubita FC's protests and gave Andrew Vozmediana a yellow card for diving instead. Andrew Vozmediana hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Uhin Asensio got in the 79th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Reynardo Rascuro handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After some careless play in the Manamundo defense, Roberto Alzola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Muno Leiva. The Manamundo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Muno Leiva should have stopped the shot. Roberto Alzola struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Muno Leiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cubita FC. 95 minutes into the game, Cubita FC's Roberto Alzola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Muno Leiva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The Cubita FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
