Luciano Magdalena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ursino Rueda having to interfere. Xiao Canive kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Baiardo Bustelo's late challenge caught a Gongal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baiardo Bustelo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Baiardo Bustelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Mucusun:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gongal:s goal. Mucusun:s Matias Valcuende showed great skill when he stopped Pastor Guixot:s penalty. After a rather tough play, Gongal's Gar Lopidana got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Ursino Rueda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Magdalena, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Telesforo Uralde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the game, Mucusun's Luciano Magdalena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ursino Rueda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Vincente Alcain's late challenge caught a Gongal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The supporters of Gongal booed when Mucusun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincente Alcain didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
If Xzavier Barrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gongal's Ursino Rueda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Magdalena in the 56th minute of play. Ursino Rueda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Magdalena in the 58th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Xzavier Barrera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mucusun's supporters rose to their feet, but Xzavier Barrera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ursino Rueda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gorbea Zumista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Valcuende having to interfere. Gorbea Zumista who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Matias Valcuende when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gorbea Zumista did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Matias Valcuende 79 minutes into the match. Ursino Rueda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Magdalena in the 82nd minute of play. Vincente Alcain hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Gorbea Zumista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Matias Valcuende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Mucusun's goalkeeper Matias Valcuende had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gorbea Zumista.
