After 4 played minutes, Canoa FC's Mogel Bracho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Savion Gascon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Canoa FC reached it. Claudinei Ardanza's late challenge caught a Pina FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinei Ardanza helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th minute, Humberto Ogazon fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Quinten Zaitegui, passed just outside the right post. The supporters of Canoa FC booed when Pina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dayam Aller didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 played minutes Pina FC got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Aniel. After recieving a nice pass, Canoa FC's Cortez Gandara tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute Humberto Ogazon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quinten Zaitegui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dayam Aller during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Canoa FC booed when Pina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dayam Aller didn't get a good kick on the ball. Savion Gascon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fiz Villasinda, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Rosendo Aniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quinten Zaitegui having to interfere. If Desiderio Suarbol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Humberto Ogazon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Quinten Zaitegui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Pina FC got a freekick which was hit by Dayam Aller. Humberto Ogazon hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Suarbol in the 38th minute of play forced Pina FC's goalkeeper Savion Gascon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ritchie Millares might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Quinten Zaitegui. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ritchie Millares ran back to his position shaking his head. Quinten Zaitegui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Ogazon in the 46th minute of play. Ritchie Millares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quinten Zaitegui having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Desiderio Suarbol to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Desiderio Suarbol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canoa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Desiderio Suarbol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Savion Gascon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pina FC's Ritchie Millares got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Canoa FC! The referee gave Pina FC a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Claudio Morellana, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Canoa FC's Quinten Zaitegui. 1-1. Fiz Villasinda succeeded in the game's 87th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Claudinei Ardanza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canoa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinei Ardanza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Savion Gascon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Canoa FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
