Isidoro Reborio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute Eron Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ursino Rueda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Desiderio Suarbol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ursino Rueda having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Telesforo Uralde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute, Gorbea Zumista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 20 minutes into the game, Gorbea Zumista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Quinten Zaitegui was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 23 played minutes Canoa FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Ardanza. If Telesforo Uralde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Orkatz Claramonte kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Telesforo Uralde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Quinten Zaitegui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aldomiro Zalaeta charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aldomiro Zalaeta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aldomiro Zalaeta hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, Canoa FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gorbea Zumista fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Telesforo Uralde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Telesforo Uralde was the one to do the kick off. Telesforo Uralde took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Quinten Zaitegui. Quinten Zaitegui dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 56 minutes into the match, Canoa FC's Eron Baptista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ursino Rueda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Claudinei Ardanza fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canoa FC's protests and gave Claudinei Ardanza a yellow card for diving instead. Claudinei Ardanza hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 59 played minutes, Gongal's Pastor Guixot shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Quinten Zaitegui came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gongal reached it. When Gongal's Telesforo Uralde in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Canoa FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 63 played minutes Gongal got a freekick which was hit by Xerardo Tudela. Ursino Rueda was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mogel Bracho. Quinten Zaitegui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telesforo Uralde, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Hegoi Mateo's late challenge caught a Canoa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hegoi Mateo helped the player get up and apologised. Hegoi Mateo hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tadzio Garro during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st minute, one of Canoa FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Canoa FC. In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Gongal. Pastor Guixot stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Quinten Zaitegui. 3-0. Quinten Zaitegui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telesforo Uralde in the 96th minute of the match. Jaizki Jacome received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Ursino Rueda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gongal fans cheered their team off the field, for while Canoa FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
