Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Taneche's Cristobal Xixons started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Ferran in the 7th minute of play forced Taneche's goalkeeper Genaro Rancel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genaro Rancel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severiano Ferran's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Mazuste Junyent kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Severiano Ferran in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Genaro Rancel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 12th minute, Umea Sagarteguieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Genaro Rancel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Ferran, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garin Redonet couldn't finish the play. Severiano Ferran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severiano Ferran was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Bajarigua's goalkeeper Iliana Heneriz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domeka Allende. The supporters of Taneche booed when Bajarigua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beltran Fontecha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Taneche's Genaro Rancel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Ferran in the 82nd minute of play. Garin Redonet struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Genaro Rancel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bajarigua. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Taneche! Augusto Entrambasaguas placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The Taneche players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Bajarigua from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
