Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Severiano Ferran started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Elodio Bolante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, Bajarigua's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Valino came free, but Iliana Heneriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iliana Heneriz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lehen Pandal in the 7th minute. Pringamozal's Lehen Pandal got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lehen Pandal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iliana Heneriz having to interfere. Bajarigua's Iliana Heneriz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Bajarigua from getting a goal against them. Iliana Heneriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Valino in the 32nd minute of play. If Severiano Ferran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Elvio Santoval fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pringamozal's protests and gave Elvio Santoval a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute, Elvio Santoval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 39 minutes, Heitor Pedriza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bajarigua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Heitor Pedriza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
After 52 played minutes Pringamozal got a freekick which was hit by Txatxu Secadura. With an all-out effort, Bajarigua's Napier Sandino threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Severiano Ferran, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lehen Pandal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lehen Pandal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Iliana Heneriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Bajarigua booed when Pringamozal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Santoval didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iliana Heneriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lehen Pandal in the 70th minute of the match. If Lehen Pandal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Severiano Ferran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Napier Sandino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pringamozal's attack was well implemented in the 75th minute, but when Zacarias Valino was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After 80 minutes, Zacarias Valino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pringamozal and the Bajarigua players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Pringamozal getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Zacarias Valino hit a great ball. Napier Sandino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Ferran, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Garin Redonet's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Napier Sandino firmly grabbed it by the left post. But to his dismay, Garin Redonet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The Bajarigua supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bajarigua would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
