The referee ignored Cachincho's protests and gave Illart Domene a yellow card for diving instead. Illart Domene hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Andres Vuelva, 39 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Aurken Leyva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Modesto Sorriba made a huge save. Aurken Leyva struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. In the 57th minute, one of Cachincho:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cachincho. Cachincho:s Honorato Mocellar showed great skill when he stopped Andres Vuelva:s penalty. After some careless play in the Cachincho defense, Andres Vuelva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Honorato Mocellar. The Cachincho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Honorato Mocellar should have stopped the shot. When Endura Villacian, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 62 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Honorato Mocellar was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marciano Mendana in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorato Mocellar saved Cachincho from getting behind. Endura Villacian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arauquita were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
