Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) DEPORTIVO LARA's Joel Moreno started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as DEPORTIVO LARA's Petru Ţopescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rodas Runs. That made the score 2-0 after 11 minutes of play. In the 14thth minute of the game Joel Moreno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sebastopol's Rodas Runs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 24th play minutes Salvatore Villarroel shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Leandro Llain and just under the crossbar into goal. Salvatore Villarroel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Leandro Llain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Sebastopol's Rigoberto Garagorri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leandro Llain made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. 42 minutes into the match, DEPORTIVO LARA's Joel Moreno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodas Runs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcial Trabeso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sebastopol's zone, Joel Moreno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodas Runs came out of the goal and Joel Moreno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rigoberto Garagorri to make the kick off. Marcial Trabeso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 56 minutes, Urbano Vital mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sebastopol and the DEPORTIVO LARA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rigoberto Garagorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Llain having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Garagorri in the 64th minute of play forced DEPORTIVO LARA's goalkeeper Leandro Llain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcial Trabeso's late challenge caught a Sebastopol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcial Trabeso helped the player get up and apologised. Marcial Trabeso kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sebastopol's Rigoberto Garagorri got a free kick in the 68th minute. Rodas Runs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Usategui, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 74th play minutes Joel Moreno shot 4-3, a short shot which went by Rodas Runs and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of DEPORTIVO LARA booed when Sebastopol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Sotuela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Rodas Runs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. DEPORTIVO LARA's Leandro Llain proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save DEPORTIVO LARA from getting a goal against them. Flavio Usategui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Petru Ţopescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leandro Llain made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salvatore Villarroel in the 96th minute. DEPORTIVO LARA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
