After a rather tough play, Sabino's Eli Belaustegui got a free kick in the 5th minute. Vincente Gatell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manni Abrante's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Umbruso Charri in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iratze Cerecedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Sabino getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Seber Villatoro hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Cayo Merino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iratze Cerecedo was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Vincente Gatell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eli Belaustegui went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Eli Belaustegui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 played minutes Sabino got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Casasola. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Crispo Ovejas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pantanales's supporters rose to their feet, but Crispo Ovejas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iratze Cerecedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sabino's Iratze Cerecedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umbruso Charri in the 30th minute of play. Iratze Cerecedo came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Pantanales's Umbruso Charri. But to his dismay, Umbruso Charri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Orlando Pandilla fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sabino's protests and gave Orlando Pandilla a yellow card for diving instead. Orlando Pandilla kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Umbruso Charri struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Iratze Cerecedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pantanales. Malvin Cemborain kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Umbruso Charri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iratze Cerecedo was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. After 47 minutes of play Sabino's Orlando Pandilla was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 47th minute, Orlando Pandilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Pantanales were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Umbruso Charri made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Pantanales's Umbruso Charri ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iratze Cerecedo. Iratze Cerecedo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. A nice corner shot did that Crispo Ovejas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Iratze Cerecedo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sabino's Iratze Cerecedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umbruso Charri in the 71st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Umbruso Charri took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Iratze Cerecedo to make any attempt to save it. The Pantanales supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pantanales would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
