Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Porfiro Miguel started the match with the kick off. When Jaime Rufrancos fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mesero's protests and gave Jaime Rufrancos a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isias Asenjo in the 9th minute of play forced Gaviota's goalkeeper Xandro Cimbrelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Isias Asenjo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heitor Landaburu in the 12th minute of play forced Gaviota's goalkeeper Xandro Cimbrelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Leo Espinola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Porfiro Miguel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mesero's Goren Chandeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvadore Muñoa in the 24th minute of play. Gaviota's Salvadore Muñoa got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Jaime Rufrancos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 27 minutes had been played. In the 28th match minute, Mesero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Rufrancos to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Mesero's Goren Chandeiro got control of the ball when Salvadore Muñoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Porfiro Miguel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Goren Chandeiro was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. If Porfiro Miguel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaviota's Porfiro Miguel got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Salvadore Muñoa sped through Mesero's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Goren Chandeiro. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd match minute, Mesero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isias Asenjo to maneuver through the defense. After 53 played minutes, Gaviota's Bieito Aedo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Goren Chandeiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gaviota reached it. 60 minutes into the match, Gaviota's Salvadore Muñoa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Goren Chandeiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Salvadore Muñoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute Salvadore Muñoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Goren Chandeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Goren Chandeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvadore Muñoa in the 69th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mesero's Isias Asenjo got a free kick in the 70th minute. Salvadore Muñoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Goren Chandeiro having to interfere. Sandaili Antiñano hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Porfiro Miguel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Goren Chandeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Goren Chandeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Porfiro Miguel in the 83rd minute of play. A collision led to Gaviota getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Eutor Ternero hit a great ball. If Porfiro Miguel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Porfiro Miguel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaviota's supporters rose to their feet, but Porfiro Miguel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Goren Chandeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gaviota walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
