The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marincito FC were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Mandigal FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ysmael Nebot took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Regueira in the 10th minute of play forced Marincito FC's goalkeeper Roland Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Hernando Marimon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mandigal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marincito FC the free kick. After 13 played minutes Mandigal FC got a freekick which was hit by Hernando Marimon. Pinto Periquet was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cordarius Cardiel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Paco Arandojo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Marincito FC's Roland Toledo. Roland Toledo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roland Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paco Arandojo in the 23rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Marincito FC's Cordairo San got a free kick in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Marincito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paco Arandojo came free, but Roland Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paco Arandojo couldn't finish the play. Roland Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Regueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Paco Arandojo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roland Toledo was relentless in the 47th minute of the game.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paco Arandojo was the one to do the kick off. One of Marincito FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mandigal FC:s goal. In the 82nd minute of the match, Igor Regueira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Roland Toledo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 92nd minute Cordarius Cardiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pinto Periquet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Paco Arandojo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Igor Regueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marincito FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mandigal FC for a fine match.
