After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Lonzo Orden managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monterola FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lonzo Orden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bihar Nevares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th match minute, Pericocal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frichoso Bebias to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Monterola FC defense, Galoer Cedillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciro Paiz. The Monterola FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciro Paiz should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute, Galoer Cedillo had to leave the field with a concussion. In the 31st match minute, Monterola FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Unai Asturianos to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, Atauri Yzarra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Atauri Yzarra in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ciro Paiz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Atauri Yzarra managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 38th match minute, Monterola FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hanot Mauricio to maneuver through the defense. Lonzo Orden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bihar Nevares having to interfere. Atauri Yzarra struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Ciro Paiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pericocal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mikelar Ermua was the one to do the kick off. Atauri Yzarra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 64 minutes, Vicente Tezano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pericocal and the Monterola FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 65 minutes, Lonzo Orden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monterola FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lonzo Orden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atauri Yzarra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pericocal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Curcio Hortega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atauri Yzarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ciro Paiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciro Paiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atauri Yzarra in the 94th minute of play. Ciro Paiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atauri Yzarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Pericocal players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
