Potros F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severiano Calvete was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 36th minute Severiano Calvete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luzaide Turiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Florentino Hervias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Potros F.C.'s Luzaide Turiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Hervias in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Luzea Guillaumet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Potros F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guariare the free kick. The supporters of Guariare booed when Potros F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luzea Guillaumet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fe Seijas kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Casimiro Rilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Bardon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mikelar Yanguas to strike the kick off in the second half. Azubeli Veladiez charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Azubeli Veladiez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Guariare getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. In the 59th minute Severiano Calvete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luzaide Turiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Potros F.C.'s Luzaide Turiel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Potros F.C. from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Potros F.C.'s Sugar Sesmilo got a free kick in the 62nd minute.
